Does ICT Have Math?
Yes, ICT have math.There are some topics in ICT that you can see numbers and problem solving like the binary, amount of GB when partitioning the hard disk drive, numbers inside a website, spreadsheets, data bases, image editing applications and desktop publishing softwares.
That first one in ICT that we see that math is involve is the binary. Binary is used in which in one set of binary code there is a corresponding letter or sign. Binary is a mixture of 0 and 1. This is being discuss because it is important. The teacher discusses the binary lessons and after that he might give some quizes about it. So ICT have math.
The second one is about the partitioning of the hard disk drive. When there is only one hard disk drive you can partition it so that you can save other files on that. It is being done because you can reformat the operating system without damaging the files on the other drive. Also saving files on that partition is good to easily find the important files. When doing partition you need to calculate on how many GB will be on Partition 1 and partition 2. The amount of GB will depends upon on the total capacity of the hard disk drive. Calculations is belongs to math subject and also the numbers, so in this case ICT have math.
Numbers inside the website. The website is compose of a sets of codes but it can also have numbers. When building a website, numbers can also be seen. It is put so that it can be easily navigate. It is hard to see the list of names of people, animal, place or any list on the website without having a number. That thing will serve as a guide and the people will easily find what they are looking for.
Spreadsheets are very useful tool. It can be use for data entry and calculations. Usually it is use to calculates the grades of the students. It is very useful because in a matter of seconds the grades are already computed. It can process and compute hundreds, thousands or even million of sets of number in a matter of second. ICT have math that is being used.
Data bases have also numbers, in which ICT have math. Those numbers are guide and maybe being place inside the data base. The data base is important thing because those important files are place in that area. It is protected and easily to find when the file is needed.
Image editing applications have also math. Just an example the Photoshop. Photoshop is use in many things. Usually it is used for making formal photos use for resume to apply work. We can see the numbers their or the sizes like 1x1, 2x2, 1.3x1.7 and other sizes. The grids, width, length and height are also part of the mathematics in which we can say that ICT have math. Also the zoom part have the numbers on what percent the image will be zoom.
Desktop publishing softwares also have math. These tools are use for publishing like the newspaper, flyiers and other documents. The softwares have grids, length, height, numbers, shapes and other stuff in which it is coming from math. And desktop publish softwares are part of ICT so we can say that ICT have math.
Those are some reasons why ict have math. There are computations, problem solving, shapes, length, width, height, volume, capacity and other things which are related to mathematics.
